- The headboard and base will come with pre-drilled holes. You will have to feel near the markers that have been placed on the items. Sometimes these markers can move so you have to feel around and piece to material. The metal parts are link bars. These are to hold the base together on each side. Sometimes we do send two different sizes so you may have four altogether.
